Check leads with Precleared before your agent adds them to Waalaxy

Waalaxy runs LinkedIn prospecting with optional email steps. If your AI agent adds prospects through Waalaxy's MCP server, connect Precleared's MCP server next to it, so anyone you'll email is checked first.

What you need

A Precleared key. Every new key starts with 14 days at 100 checks a day, then your own 100 a day over MCP, no card needed. Get a free key.
Waalaxy's MCP server, on the Advanced and Business plans. It signs in with a magic link; Waalaxy API keys don't work with it.

1. Connect both servers

In Claude.ai or the Claude desktop app, open Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, paste https://stargate.prod.aws.waalaxy.com/api/mcp and Connect, or pick Waalaxy from Claude's connector list. Add Precleared the same way with https://precleared.dev/mcp?src=guide-waalaxy, or from the Claude directory. Other clients that support OAuth can use the same addresses. See Waalaxy's MCP docs.

2. Give your agent the rule

Paste this into your agent's instructions, a project's instructions or a skill:

Before adding a prospect to a Waalaxy campaign that has email steps, and you have the prospect's email address, call Precleared's contact_check once for that address. Send address_source (where you got the address) and sender_country, plus company_name and pitch when you know them.
- ok_to_email: add the prospect with add-prospects-to-list-campaign. Keep the receipt id with the prospect.
- consent_needed or blocked: don't add the prospect to a campaign with email steps. Add it to your "Do not contact" list instead (the same tool, without a campaign) and note the next_step.
- unknown: don't add the prospect yet. Supply the missing fact (recipient_country, default_recipient_country if all your prospects are in one country, or company_number), then check again.
Every email must meet footer_text: usually who you are, a postal address and a way to opt out.

What happens to each lead

Good to know

Waalaxy works from LinkedIn profiles. Precleared checks email addresses, so it applies to prospects you'll email, when you have their address.
Waalaxy has no blacklist tool. Its own advice is a "Do not contact" list that you never use in a campaign.
Tool names and settings come from Waalaxy's MCP docs as of 30 October 2026. If they change, your agent sees the new names in the server's tool list.
The ?src=guide-waalaxy tag on Precleared's address only tells us which guide you used. It doesn't change your allowance or your results.

Every check has a signed receipt. Open precleared.dev/r/ followed by its id to show a client why an email went out.
